2026 American Dinghy Derby (July 25, 2026)

Join the Michigan City Yacht Club for the American Dinghy Derby on Saturday, July 25!

We're celebrating the 250th Anniversary of America!! Patriotic costumes and Americana decorations on your dinghy are HIGHLY encouraged and will be rewarded - prizes for best costumes and decorations!

Pre-registration online: $25 for MCYC members; $30 for non-members

Day-of registration in-person: $30 for MCYC members; $45 for non-members

**each registration includes two cups for refreshments along the way**

Extra cups available for $10

10:00-11:30am: Check in (all participants) and Last Minute Registration on the MCYC Deck

12 Noon: Horn start

3:00pm: Return to the MCYC Deck for appetizers, an All-American hot dog, cash bar, prizes, and fun!
